So early, I have no idea when I woke up.. I thought it was 4:45 (normal wake-up time for me), and I had my breakfast, and I felt a little tired still, so I went to lay down on my bed..
Next thing I knew, I startled myself awake again (thinking I had totally fallen asleep and now I'm late for work), and I realise it's still dark.. I calm down and figure I only dozed for a few minutes and I'm okay, so I check the clock. 3:30.
I check again: 3:30.
I check my pager: 3:30.
Obviously, I woke up at some point in the middle of the night thinking it was my normal time to wake up, and I then fell back asleep after breakfast.. I suppose this was my body's way of saying, "No! You will *NOT* skip dinner!". So, I proceeded to fall back to sleep, again, and was awoken by the alarm at 4:45 like normal. I then check my pager, the microwave clock, the living room clock, and the cable clock to ensure they all agree that I should be up at this point.
On the plus side, I didn't wake up crying, or scared out of my wits, as has been the trend in the past week or so. Damn dreams.. For years, I'm perfectly happy not remembering any dreams. Now, not only am I remembering them, but they are all bad and forcing me awake.
