12:23 - Anyone like Biology?

Previous Entry Share Flag Next Entry

The part-time faculty offices over in Bio are being cleaned out and they have something like 30 books in the hall with signs on them that read "Free Books".

Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Calculus for Biology, Entymology (whatever that is -- I'm guessing the inner workings of a nice desert?), and various others.

Anyone want one (or a few)? I can grab them and just let them sit on my shelf here untill I have a chance to get them to ya.

Granted, they are old, but I'm guessing there hasn't been THAT much evolution happening in the past 20 years or so, so they are likely still mostly accurate.

Ahh.. that would explain why there was only one of them. Hell, I may want that one.

Perhaps the Calculus for Biology & E(n)tymology has stayed the same. Maybe.

But with all that's happened in the last *five* years in the genetics world (human genome project, cloning, etc.), I'd guess that anything having to do with cellular biology, microbiology, genetics, etc. that's more than 10 years old is halfway out the window, and about to fall in the rosebushes.

But that's my really un-educated opinion talking. YMMV

Nuclear Biology? What is this, Marvel? Would this be the study of humanoids biologically altered by nuclear waste/radioactivity?
