the concept: take some liberals from San Francisco and have them drive around the country, stopping in towns in counties that were overwhelmingly republican (like, voted 80% republican in the recent presidential election) and interview random people in parking lots and gas pumps. Don't be antagonistic about it, don't be accusatory, just ask the people how they feel about the state of the nation (and various aspects thereof). Then take their responses and blog it (telling them you're going to do this (one of the people interviewed even responded in the comments to other people's comments on her views)). The result: Stories in America. A good read.
