yeah, the dash has this nice soft blue colour all over it. Quite easy on the eyes.

Digital dash displays always remind me of spaceships.

well, most of it is analogue.. Just the MPG/odometer and the fuel status is digital. The MPH and tach are both dial-style analogue.

not yet, but it's at about a gallon left and I'm going back to the San Francisco area again tomorrow so I'll need to fill up tomorrow morning.

kinda nice, though, knowing it only takes slightly less than 5 gallons to get from Sacramento to San Francisco. And that's with my driving habits which includes making most of the trip doing about 75mph (wavering between 70 and 80, most of the time around 75). Probably could have gotten much better mileage if I were willing to slow down to 65 (the speed limit out here). :)

'bout the same price here. Odd, that. For some reason I expected there would be a difference between the prices on the coasts. Don't know why, I just thought CA was more expensive..

I think it's cheaper in Manhattan, but I'm on Long Island, which is renowned for spotty and lackadaisical public transportation. Everybody has at least one car.

yeah, same here. Public Transit here has crappy hours and there are huge gaps in the coverage. Though, to their credit, what they post as the schedule is accurate a high percentage of the time. Most routes make all their stops on time. It's just a shame those stops are rarely where you need to go, so there's a fair bit of walking involved as well for most trips.

It's a shame for the environment. But it's so much fun to drive, too.

This looks very reminiscient of my Insight dashboard. Did you pick up a Hybrid? Forgive me I have been out of the loop for a little while...

A bit busy and hectic. Sometimes I no longer know which side is up. But other than that doing quite well. I am looking into going back to school right now, which may entail me transplanting myslef. A rather scary thought, but a necessary one.

Tea would be good. Any good places to go? True Love has been closed.

Naked Lounge has a few halfway decent teas..

Why would school entail transplantation?

Hmmn. Never been there. I should give it a try. What is your schedule like?

School, now there is the interesting question. I am thinking about attending the California College of Ayurveda in Grass Valley. It would only be a temporary relocation, just about 2 years, and I would still come back to Sacramento for the weekends. It would just be easier for me to concentrate up there, as well as fully rent out my house rather than having to worry about the payment. This mean that I would only work part time somewhere and leave my current job in Corporate America. A very frightening preposition. My Tareaun nature is having a field day with this venture.
