how to piss off an iPod // note

So, I'm downloading a few gigs of backup data from der 'Pod to the desktop (last bit of data consolidation) and I decide to update some songs as well.

Yeah, few gigs down and a few hundred megs up made for a very labored 'Pod. poor HDD inside it was cranking away so much I could easilly hear those heads clicking back and forth from about two feet away (and with tunes playing from the desktop speakers (yes, I play them quietly out of respect for other offices nearby, but still))!

It would seem that much intense HDD activity is just about enough to completely drain the battery, also. it's little indicator is at that "I'm going to shut off automatically any moment now" point. poor thing, it tries so hard sometimes. :)
