"It was time for your cup to die."

My father's familly doesn't talk much (mom's isn't much better). One of my aunts and my father spent 10 years without so much as an exchanged "hello". They finally made ammends and got together for my Grandma's birthday, where they had another spat and it's looking like there will be another ten years before they talk again. One of my uncles and I spent about 7 or 9 years similarly. Another of my uncles left the familly as a whole when I was quite young and no one had heard from him since.

And now we never will.

Bother, that. I remember one or two times when I was a kid visiting grandma and hanging with him for a little bit, he was nice and fun to spend time with.
