Real Life is a damn funny comic because of the personal level of it. This guy writes the comic based on events that actually happen to him. He also happens to live in the same city I do, so a lot of the more local referances are comic gold for me. Like today's comic, he's talking about a particular broadcasting tower that is easilly seen from a major freeway. It has a colour bar at the top that changes colour with the weather forcast. It's got 5 codes, and not a single person I know has ever manged to remember what all the codes mean. Many have looked them up, yet we allways manage to forget before the next time we see that stupid colour bar.
I don't know how many times I've said that exact sentence in panel two, "one of these days . . . "
