new toys

looking around on the web, I find that there are quite a few programs out there to facilitate the processing of the "raw" format files I'm taking pictures in now.
I no longer have to worry too much about bad white-balance shots, as one of the features is to resample the shot with a specific part of the shot being used as the white-point. This has some interesting effects when set to a location that is most assuredly not supposed to be white.

Granted, I'm not sure how much I'm going to trust these features until I have more experiance with them, but if they work as nice as I expect them to, this program is most assuredly worth the shareware fee.
