shamlessly copy/pasted from mslulu:

I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

I friended you from photographie. You have a wonderful eye in this aspect. I am a photographer as well. To be honest, I can speak better from that medium than to convey my thoughts verbally. I listen to all sorts of music save for country, metal, or rap. I met my love simu2fan in a profound sense through lj. As you might imagine my posting has decreased because of it.

ah yes, life does have a way of making LJ time more scarce. :) I know this well.

Thank you for the compliment, you're pretty good yerself. I really should post some more. I've been keeping up with the picturehunting, I just haven't had much time to edit/post anything -- sorry about that.

I only like spinach if it's fresh and leafy, not if it's frozen and shredded.

I own the CD-ROM of Axis and Allies, and the computer can't beat me. Poor thing.

Currently, I'm the smallest I have been since before I had my children. This is something that keeps amazing me...and worrying me, considering I work at Lane Bryant (for sizes 14-28)--one more size drop and I won't be able to use the employee discount on the clothes!

cats rule, dogs drool! :) Living with my roommate's dogs has gotten me to appreciate them for their particular doggish qualities. I still highly preferr cats, though.

I used to do a lot of black and white photography, until I discovered that the zen-like place that a lot of photographers was going to ever elude me. I lose patience with the endless test strips of exposures, light settings and dodging techniques and would just rather take it down for someone else to develop. Unfortunately, this also means that most of the photography I do these days tends to be more snapshots and less interesting. I do still try for more interesting angles and composition with my digital camera though when I can. But I would no longer ever consider myself a photographer.

heh, yeah.. it's not for everyone. I'm suprized, with your history of darkroom work, that you haven't moved it into the digital realm. Photoshop can make those tasks you found tedious quite zippy. But you've found other outlets for your creativity.

I do probably tweak my photos more in Photoshop than your averge human--just because of my day to day job. But much more than color correction and similar isn't as interesting to me as it used to be. Perhaps I'll get back into photography one day, but I think now I'm a. too lazy to do much more than snapshots and b. too poor for the kind of digital SLR I'd want. ;)

You and your hat make me nostalgic. Almost every time I see you, I get a flash of what I assume to be a memory from a MUPT years and years ago. It's like this picture that pops into my head for 1/100 of a second, an image of your hat on what I must assume is your head, tilted so I can't see a face, while everyone is outside of a pizza place and starting to leave. It's really weird... 'cause I don't know that it was you, but yet I think I do. *giggle* For that one moment, it's like I knew you in a past life... Which considering that I was in my mid-teens the last time I went to a MUPT, may not be that far fetched.

I hope this doesn't weird you out... 'cause I'm totally used to it... But this was just the most obscure piece of information that I could think of about myself. I hope that this is actually new information, and I’m not just having some sort of blonde moment. *smile*

Actually, it is new info to me. Yes, it probably was me, as there were only about two or three of us in the MUPT scene who regularly wore Fedoras. I was the only one about your age, all the others were considerably older.
