How close are you?

Actually, I found that helpful, considering I'll need the info in order to transfer as soon as I get a few more courses done at ARC.

I need to get my transcripts from the last couple of times I went to college (Ohio University 85-89 and San Joaquin Delta College 96-97). No, I don't have a degree yet. The degree I originally started in doesn't even exist anymore.

actually, I'm done with my BA. I'm working on an MA and am about 2 to 2.5 years away from getting it.

oh, and if yer looking at transferring, you may like to know that when I transferred over to here, there was a cap of 70 units that you can take with you. Any excess gets lopped off and tossed in the "lower division elective" category. I've heard that this cap still exists today.

Most of the units I have are from OU, which was on the quarter system, not semesters, so I have to do a bunch of math and finegling to find out what transfers and what doesn't. Nothing with a grade of C or lower transfers (so there goes most of my lower division Psych work and means I have to take some really dumb stuff over again or test out of it).

I need to talk to one of the counsellors to help me get financial aid and plan which courses will get me where I want to be the soonest. It doesn't help that my finances are utter crap right now and my schedule is insane enough that I have trouble doing anything more than making it to work on the days I'm supposed to be there (I hate having an erratic schedule).
