hrmm.. different culture, diferent focus.

so, browsing the music store on amazon.de and I just noticed they have slightly different categories as compared to amazon.com.

For instance, "gothic and wave" is a whole seperate category off the main level in amazon.de, where amazon.com doesn't seem to have that category anywhere..

amusing. Particularly in light of a conversation I had recently where it was relayed that someone's first remark when they heard I'm studying german was "how goth." Apparently, all the best goth and industrial music is produced in Germany (this was news to me).

d00d, this is just *WAY* too fitting.

Okay, so you go to the Mirriam-Webster online dictionary, type in your LJ username in the lookup field and you post the responses it gives you.

Mine were:

Suggestions for lograh:
1. logorrhea
2. Legree
3. low-grade
4. leaguer
5. Logan
6. ligure
7. Leaguer
8. luggage
9. Laoghaire
10. Leghorn

What I find particularly funny, is what the definition of my first one was (it looked interesting so I clicked on it):

Main Entry: log·or·rhea
Function: noun
Etymology: New Latin
: excessive and often incoherent talkativeness or wordiness

Many who know me would say it fits perfectly.
