Am I right? Am I wrong? Or am I just dreaming?

wow. fun.
hrmmm, what'd I do?? hehe.

lessee.. I went walking around mid/down-town on saturday.. saw a few galleries before the artwalk started, so I didn't have to fight the crowds and still got to see plenty of pretty art. I swung by The Beat and picked up some music (Tori Amos "Little Earthquakes", Erasure "Wonderland, and Erasure "Chorus" -- yesyes, I know, I should have had them by now . . . so there are a few gaping holes in my collection still!), and drooled over much other music that I want copies of.

I finally sat down and watched "The Open Road". *Good* show. I particularly like it for it's message. If anyone wants to see it, lemme know and I'll loan it to ya. They (note: link contains a sound-enabled intro) encouraged me to spread it around and show it to all my friends, and I like to share good movies with people, so it works out.

I also managed to watch "Pirates of the Carribean : Curse of the Black Pearl", as one of my roommates picked up a copy of it recently. Fun movie, it's a shame I never managed to catch it in the theatres.

Saturday night serenica69 came over and we had artichokes (which I horribly overcooked, grrr -- must pay closer attention next time!) with garlic bread for dinner and sat down to watch "Men In Black" and basically just made a nice comfy evening of it.

Sunday I rested, and studied. That and had *lots* of coffee.. :) I didn't actually get out of the house till about 4, when I went shopping (and had a starbucks drink -- curse them for putting it RIGHT THERE IN THE FSCKING STORE!). I then came home and experimented with trying to improve the starbucks Eggnog Latte by putting my own little twist on it. The end result wasn't too bad, but it still needs some work. I had misjudged how sweet the Eggnog (which I had modified through the addition of honey and chocolate) would be and didn't make the coffee appropriately harsh. Oh well, guess I'll just have to try again. Experimentation is fun! After that, serenica69 and I met up with her friend (whose LJ username I'm blanking on at the moment, I think it was damonakat) and the three of us tried out the new Mikuni's downtown and then went to the True Love for some drinks and then off to meet her guy and then home.

Ja, wonderfully exciting to read about, to be sure. But there it is.

I would have given you all much more detail in more frequent posts throughout the weekend, but as I mentioned earlier: The iBook is dead and thus I could not . . . You can stop celebrating now. :)
