. . . Why am I short of attention?
Got a short little span of attention
and, woah, my nights are so long.

I was just looking at buying Graceland for nostalgia's sake yesterday. Rock on.

I love that album.. I have almost the entire thing memorised, and I was actually able to sign along without missing a beat after not having heard it for over 6 years.. It's got such wonderful songs..

i <3 <3 <3 Paul Simon! And that album, with Ladysmith Black Mambazo doing all the amazing backing vocals... Did you know Ladysmith is playing at Mondavi in Davis tonight?! $18. I was thinking of going to that or Primus in Davis, but I should save my pennies and stay at work.. :-/

shit, Primus is playing in Davis soon?!?! soooo tempting!

No, I wasn't really all that aware of the individual doing the background vocals on that album.. They are nice, though, now that you mention them.. I'll have to do some musical research on that name.

Primus is TONIGHT dude! 29 bucks though! Ladysmith has a ton of albums out and they created all those amazing baritone harmonies that cover the Graceland album. We had them in the radio station back in the day, on one or two of the Six Degrees "Traveller" CDs. Just take one listen to Paul Simon's "Homeless" and you'll hear how badass Ladysmith is... :)
