man, I loves me the Fight Club. Such a wonderful cinematic commentary on the values and priorities of our society. It delves deeply into the behavior and thoughts of modern man.

That, and it has some of the best one-line quotes I've heard in a movie in a long time.

"I haven't been fucked like that since grade school" and the one in this post's subject being two of my favorite.

I think the second one is my favorite movie quote ever. Sadly difficult to use in many situations though, I should really work on that. ;)

Yeah, it's not an easy one to work into common conversation.

You can take it situationally:

(After a particularly hellish game of chess):
"Checkmate, bitch!"
"I haven't been fucked like that since grade school."

(After some rather lame shit, like being laid off a meme two weeks after buying a new car):
"Only $288 a week for unemployment? I haven't been fucked like that since grade school."

(And, of course, right after sex):
*guess*

This has been brought to you by the Committee To Incorporate Fight Club Lines Into Everyday Conversation. And if you don't like it, you'll...you'll get a lead salad!

It is certainly one of the greatest journey's into the mind of a madman. Have you read the book? I heard it was even better. I like the movie because Brad Pitt is hot when he bleeds.

I unfortunately had the experience of seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show with live accompaniment recently, which is one of those things like dating crazy women that one should only do in your youth. However, I'm glad to report that the best new line is at the dinner when Frankenfurter rips away the tablecloth and the crowd starts chanting, "His name was Robert Paulsen"

This is your life... I remember a song that had that as the refrain.. It's been so long since I've heard it, though.. you remember who it's by?

So I take it that after I read the book, I shouldn't bother much with his other works?

i agree with sandwich, the book wasnt all that good compared to the movie, and really that is surprising, since almost all book to movie conversions are crap, this one was opposite..

on a related note, i heard somewhere that they are going to make lullaby (i think) into a movie next
