Weird. Geocities just sent me a letter saying how they have shut down my site temporarilly for bandwidth reasons. I don't know how much it is using, but they say they allow 3GB/Month and based on their (hourly) measurements, my site was going over that.
And this just as I got done remondeling the place and deleting all but the best stuff (I was rapidly approaching the disk-space limit of 15MB). Werg.
So, as soon as I can decide what I would like as a domain name, I'll be moving to a new server I found that offers "unlimited" bandwidth. It's not free like Geocities is, but at least there will be room to grow and no blasted adds on my pages (unless I put them there myself).
