nothing tough, just curious about the opinion of some of the other Primus fans reading this.

What songs would you include on a Primus "best-of" compilation? I mean, they have so many great songs, trying to get it down to 15 or 20 (or however many would fit on a CD) is being tough.

Hmmm. Off the top of my head:

Too Many Puppies
The Air Is Getting Slippery
Kalamazoo
Frizzle Fry
Glass Sandwich
Professor Nutbutter
Nature Boy
To Defy the Laws of Tradition
John the Fisherman
DMV
Mr. Knowitall
Blue Collar Tweekers
Sgt. Baker
Is it Luck?

Jerry Was a Racecar Drive & Tommy the Cat are both sorta gimmes, but Too Easy as well. I like the Waits. :)

Though looking through my choices I guess you could say that Frizzle Fry is their Best-Of. ;)

yeah, that's the problem I'm having also. Frizle Fry is pretty much 100% goodness, and for me Seas of Cheese and Pork Soda are up there also..

I'm just trying to throw together a CD that would be representative of their musical carreer (hence, not all from one or two CDs), yet still maintain a "best of" selection.

I quite enjoy Jerry is a Race Car Driver. But then, that's me.

If I was making it, I'd probably also include Buckethead from Claypool's Buckethead side project.
